Burning Man. A week-long ceremony that challenges you on every level. A practice in remaining present and not chasing experiences: let the energy swirl around you and no matter where you end up, it's going to be fantastic. This set is an example of being in that flow ... It was Friday night, during the most severe white-out of the week. It was a struggle for us to even bike to Camp Kiss. But we arrived and I wasn't even supposed to play that night, but I had had a premonition. First act ended and my homie David Block / Human Experience was supposed to go on and he was MIA. It was primetime, hundreds of ppl there, lasers going, vibe on point, best party on Playa .. and my friend Seth who helps runs the camp looks at me frantically and goes "You got your USB?" and I smile and he says "Let's Fucking Go!" First USB didn't work, but the backup did. Then the 'play' button on the left deck wasn't functional so had to work around that too, playa alkaline dust destroys ... but the moment was too aligned to let technicalities get in the way. And so I dropped this set on everyone , and it was utter mayhem. The dancing was primal, the energy palpable, the smiles contagious, the love beaming. David finally arrived and he followed for another glorious set and the two of us back to back was a moment in time no one who was there will ever forget. Peak Burning Man experience for a lot of us. Wow. I was honored to be ready for that moment, and to channel this music through me and into all of you. Aho
