"Getting to play on the Mayan Warrior at the Burn this year was by far one of my favorite memories of 2022. Ever since I saw the original Warrior on the playa back in 2012 at both of our first burns, I always felt drawn to it. Its unique art style was like nothing else I had seen that year. So to be able to perform at both of our ten year Burning Man anniversaries was extra special. Playing a live set in a desert isn’t easy. Carrying your gear through the heat, equipment malfunctions, dust everywhere, nothing goes according to plan. But it was absolutely worth it. To play your own music and live instruments in that setting is a feeling like no other :) Big thank you to Pablo, Amal, Rodrigo, and the whole Mayan crew for all the hard work you do and for the continued support!"
