It'd been a dream of mine to bring the Locos Lucas latin bass music sound to Burning Man for a few years, so when the stars aligned to host a Locos Lucas party at the world famous Kostume Kult, I knew we had to rep for our Latin, immigrant and NYC communities. I played after 3 amazing DJ's, Coco Prosecco, WaxAddix and GMZ, and didn't hear any Reggaeton, Dembow or Moombahton...so I knew I had to do it. I even threw in some Salsa edits and a Cumbia BANGER. Más música latina y más perreo en Burning Man! This DJ set aligned with my intention of bringing underrepresented sounds to the playa that are guaranteed to get people dancing. Shout out to Coco Prosecco, WaxAddix and GMZ for joining me from the BIPOC Beats Collective to make the best TutuTú Y Yo team BM has ever seen.
