¨The Man has just finished burning, it’s time to gently start the groove. i’ve been selecting music for this moment for the past few weeks but i’m still unsure of what to come up with… opening the night is like starting on a blank canva. i open with a poem of Dylan Thomas, as i did the first time i played the Mayan Warrior in 2019, then these few dub techno tracks i’ve been obsessed with lately… more and more people are coming, i love how we’re dancing in this such unique « burning man way » out there on the playa. i’ll take a deep breath for a couple track and ready to lift-off !! a dust storm arrives… what a time to be alive!!
