¨Since I started making music, it’s always been one of my biggest dreams to play on the Mayan Warrior - and this year it became a reality. The gig got confirmed just a couple weeks before, in person, on the Wiese floor at Garbicz festival. I‘ll never forget this moment… Bursting of excitement, I’ve subsequently poured all my heart and energy into preparing for the week out in the dust and above all the set on that majestic artcar out in the desert of Nevada. I wanted the set to be personal, featuring many tracks from artists who have played a significant role in my musical journey over the years as well as obviously some fresh new tunes from myself. In the little time I had left I managed to combine all that into the story that I got to tell on Wednesday night. Surprisingly zen, deeply grateful and content, I played this set surrounded by the sweetest bunch of people looking out in the colorful and bountiful sea of lights in front of me.
