The BORG is a total labor of love from Bobwire and Mr Burns — they’ve put literally thousands of hours into this beast. I got to support this project off-playa and then play on it again for its second year, which was just unreal. Burn night is something else. Heat, noise, wind… all the energy from the whole week just hits you at once. The playa erupts, and this set is what came out of that: dark, driving, intense, raw house and techno. It was so much fun to play, and massive thanks to everyone who danced and shared the night. This one felt really special. The first part of the recording got lost when the power cut out from overheating (that fire is seriously wild!!). So what you’re hearing here is part 2, the second half of my ~3-hour set from the night.
