Burning Man 2026, Mundara Art instillation (Deep Playa), Forest House Art Car... Nothing compares to Burning Man. I’ve seen photos and videos, I’ve heard stories, nothing could have prepared me for this past week. Burning Man is truly an art festival with the most passionate, talented, and amazing people. The playa is run by this community. I have so much I want to say and try to explain in words, but I honestly think I will only fall short. It’s an experience that everyone should have once in their lifetime. For me, I think I will be going every year for the foreseeable future. What I will say is that the people who make Burning Man happen do it with no expectation of anything in return. They create art, for the love of art itself. For people to experience it. This week was one of the most present I’ve felt in my life. Some of the highest highs, and some of the lowest lows. From dust storms, to rain, to meeting new friends, and finding inspiration every step along the way – I will never forget this past week. I am also grateful for the opportunity to share my art this past week. I was able to play sets for people who weren’t expecting me to play “murph” songs. They came to be a part of the moment, no matter where that moment took them. I hope you enjoy this set even a little bit as much as I enjoyed playing it. I didn’t go this year as some sort of proving moment where I wanted to go play the biggest stages and coolest art cars. I went to understand the culture and be a part of it. I will definitely be bringing inspiration back to my project. From shows, to the music sonically, to live experiences and activations, there was so much to take in. Anyways, enough yapping from me.
