DISTRIKT, Burning Man 2014 Monday afternoon

Live recording of my set @ DISTRIKT from 2014, Monday afternoon as the playa was finally drying out and the sun had returned after intense rainstorms had paralyzed all movement, including access through the gates. No one was getting in, no one was getting out. The storms made a hard start to the week for those of us that were inside and we were thrilled to finally get out and be together, even as the gates remained closed. All these factors created a special energy that was awesome to be a part of. I got to play an extra hour due to the gate closure, so I felt extra lucky because given the conditions leading up to this moment, I was thinking I wouldn't be playing this set at all. The crew at DISTRIKT were just the BEST and made me and my fam feel incredibly welcome. Just like everything else they do, DISTRIKT's hospitality and their Crew Love is on point. In front of the booth I kept seeing and getting to reunite with close friends that i hadn't seen in years. It was just one of the most magical moments in my life to be honest.
