Lola Villa @ Zero Fucks – Burning Man 2016

From an elevated booth, I watched numerous stunning sunsets over Black Rock desert, every single one seemed as if the sky was bleeding. They were all Dali-ish landscapes you could hardly believe could happen in front of your eyes. Playing in such a surreal landscape with such a diverse crowd is something that I never saw coming. Burning Man was always a far-away dream, a never-to-be-reached "paradise" where money is nihil and people go abouts giving what they've got. I just never figured this could ever happen to me any time soon, but it did and I feel blessed. I can talk about the gorgeous sunrises, the incredible people, or the art installations. I can tell you about serendipity but words will not do justice. I shall only tell you that this changed me a little and that I'm glad I recorded one of the three sets I played in the desert. I truly hope you will enjoy this dusty but varied set and that it will somehow transport you to a happy place. A shoutout to my new squad and family from San Francisco: Zero Fucks. I love you all!
