This is The Tree of Ténéré, an awe inspiring 30-foot tall interactive art installation made for Burning Man 2017, and one of the event's most ambitious projects ever. Lying beneath it, you find yourself looking up at the largest interactive "light canvas" in the world, enveloped in colors, shapes, and patterns that move to music through the surreal canopy above you. Thursday night of Bruning Man 2017 Airpusher teamed up with two other art cars, Mystopia's reverse Cowgirl Creamery and Hot Sauce, to party with the tree. I really wanted to see the tree perform so I started my set deep, choosing minimal tracks with very distinct elements, then built through some bass heavy stuff into full out, big, melodic burners to close out the hour! I was so honored to be included and, unsurprisingly, this turned out to be one of my most memorable sets of my 14 Burns.
