Powel - Robot Heart 10 Year Anniversary - Burning Man 2017

Round two... My second year at Burning Man. This time, I was a bit more relaxed because I knew what I was getting myself into - well at least that's what I thought. I quickly realized that this year seemed somehow similar but also very different to my experience from last year - very hard to explain why, so I won't even start trying. I guess this is one of the reasons, why people keep coming back - you simply can't explain, and you don't have to. Everything is so overly fascinating here. This time I played the bus during the day, which was perfect because those daytime sets are my favourite. After a long rest and a healthy breakfast... just kidding, it was a cereal bar and a vodka orange, I left my camp to find the bus - I didn't right away actually, which made me a bit nervous - fortunately tho, I had the honour to play after Lee Burridge, which usually means that there are lots of people. So I just had to figure out where the crowd was headed and follow them, the perfect plan. It was boiling hot, and I got my first sunburn at burning man – oh right, plus I did play some music as well :). What can i say, it was simply fantastic - the vibe, the people.
