As the sun set and the first 3 stars appeared in the sky, the dust finally settled after a rough two days. We gathered from across the Playa - the open hearts, the playa misfits, the loving trouble makers, and one by one boarded the flight, one that would take us beyond any pre-planned travel route. As often happens at Burning Man, you can plan an evening, build a lineup, make sure all technical equipment is in place and the playa will still provide you with an adventure of her own. It’s the beautiful tension between holding an intention and knowing when to let go and trust that whatever needs to happen will. This set was originally planned to be 1.5 hours and ended up running for over 4 hours. As magic manifested on the plane’s deck, the music continuously played and the Playa kept dancing.
