Tim Green - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2018

Although this was only my second Burn, it certainly did not feel like it. It felt as if I never left. So I felt right back at home when returning. This year was (for lack of a better word) perfect. We were surrounded by all the right people and experiences, plus the weather was perfect! Also this year we gained early access, which completely added a whole new level, watching the whole city grow and be built over several days. Plus helping build our own lovely camp Pink Mammoth. I was honoured to be asked back by Robot Heart, and especially for Lee Burridge inviting me to play just before him on Saturday morning. To perform on top of the bus is an experience like nothing else. The energy, situation and landscape is breathtaking. Especially whilst the sun was slowly rising, the thousands of lights at night covering the ground slowly turn to thousands of people in daylight. These memories will never leave me! This mix also features 3 new songs that I wrote especially for Burning Man, and that I actually only finished whilst on the playa! So its even more gratifying testing new music out for the first time in an incredible moment like this. Hope you all enjoy the mix! Tim
