Description

This was my first Burning Man…I was invited by Root Society to come and build, DJ and help tear down/clean up. I ended up spending 18 days out in Black Rock City, met some incredible new friends and had my favorite adventure yet. The crazy thing is that the conditions out there are made to kill you: hot and bone dry. Even with my eyes, mouth, nose and lungs full of dust, my clothes drenched in sweat, and my muscles sore and achey I understood how special it is to create something impermanent for all to enjoy. I learned many new lessons out in the desert but above all I learned how to enjoy the process of something and not just the end product.
