Burning Man 2019 - pt.1 Never Sleep Again (Wed Night | 2:30-3:30am) 🎶Deep|Melodic|Tribal|House🎶

On Wednesday night a large group of us returned back to Never Sleep Again after making the trek across the playa to see Carl Cox at Playground. We get into camp and have a half hour til we regroup and head out to The Cloud for Township Rebellion. I hear “Fire up the generator, Jordan hop on the decks!” What was suppose to be a half hour of music to kill the time turned into one of my favorite times at the burn this year as I realized there was nothing I’d rather do more than play music with no time constraints. The half hour passes and about three quarters of the group continued on to The Cloud while myself and a handful of people stayed back. During this set I collected many groups, couples, and solo-wonderers off the corner of 9:30&E to seek refuge of Deep Melodic House in the massive cuddle puddle palace that was NSA this year <3. Playing with no time restraint is my absolute favorite headspace to mix in, that and having all the amenities in the environment for people to dance, nap, chill, converse, & play games. This set would have lasted long through the morning but just as sun started peaking over the horizon to welcome in the morning the generator ran out of gas and shut us down ha. Unfortunately this set wasn't recorded live, but it had so many feels for me that I had to recreate the journey. The week I returned back to Vegas from the burn I pulled up my track history on that night, pressed record, and in one easy take recreated as close to what this set would have sounded like on the playa that night / morning. Also, with the timid nature toward hitting play on a 3 hour 45 min set I decided to break this session into two parts. I really hope you enjoy the first hour of one of my favorite musical memories from this years burn taking play from 2:30-3:30am on Wednesday night at camp Never Sleep Again <3
