The Other Nomad - 'Solar Shrine' Virtual Burn Mix

Description

I was invited by an innovating Chicago cohort of afro-futurists to contribute both graphically and with a couple of sets for Virtual Burning Man for the camp Solar Shrine. While the camp was all set to represent physically this year, the universe had different plans. However, that didn't stop an eager demographic of earthlings known as burners from remaining vigilant in their maker-ship: hence, a virtual platform of burning man was put together. And while it's not the same as the real event, it shouldn't be thought of as trying to be. This is what tireless creatives do, they create. Kudos to all who contributed to the project at large - designing and engineering in a time of tense constraints and extreme conditions. Burning Man is so much deeper than any glossy image may portray. It can be the best of us. With all that said, here is a 1 hour expert of one of the set's I've contributed to the Solar Shrine 🙂
